Tim spent over half of his 40-year career in senior leadership positions. He has been the Headteacher of four different schools and the CEO of two Multi Academy Trusts.
From a starting base of four schools, all in serious weaknesses or special measures, just five years later his trust was ranked first in the DFE performance tables for the southeast region for progress in English and Maths.
When he retired in 2022, there were seven schools, each rated Good and the Trust's financial picture was strong. In 2006, Tim became one of the first 50 academy principals (and later a CEO) in the country.
