About the SEND Inclusion Award (SENDIA)

This award provides a framework for recognising outstanding SEND provision in schools. It helps schools identify their strengths and weaknesses in terms of SEND provision and prioritise areas for further improvement and development. The award also helps schools determine where current provision is having high or little impact on the progress and outcomes of pupils with SEND. Schools holding this award can demonstrate to key stakeholders that they have achieved an outstanding level of SEND provision.

Available via paper or online routes.
